About 300 Knox College seniors received their bachelor's degrees on June 4, 2017, at the College's Commencement exercises.

This achievement is presented to the students who participated in international education experiences with Georgia State University during the Spring 2017 semester.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

The deans of each of UNG's five colleges - the College of Arts & Letters, the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences & Professions, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and the College of Science & Mathematics - announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for spring 2017. Dean's List recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

OCTC Spring 17 Dean's List

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

Each academic term, Holyoke Community College recognizes superior scholarship through the Dean's List. A student is placed on the Dean's List if his or her G.P.A. is 3.2 or higher. These students have earned Dean's List honors for the Spring 2017 term.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the spring semester 2017. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the following students who have completed their graduation requirements for the 2016-2017 academic year. Members of the Class of 2017 received their diplomas or certificates May 27 at HCC's 70th Commencement exercises at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass.

The University of North Georgia awarded more than 1,800 degrees and certificates for the spring 2017 semester, including hundreds awarded in commencement exercises held May 5-7 at the university.

Youngstown State University has released the list of top students who were named to the President's List for Spring Semester 2017. To qualify, students must have achieved a 4.0 grade point average for the semester.

Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General of New York, announces the recent service accomplishment of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their initial commitment to serve community, state and nation. The newest Citizen Soldiers to complete Army basic combat training and advanced individual training were welcomed to their units during a New York Army National Guard battle handoff ceremony. The ceremony marks their completion of the National Guard Recruit Sustainment Program, a preparatory training program that provides new recruits with training, lessons and skills to excel at their initial military training. The New York Army National Guard welcomed 111 new Soldiers to their units during the May 21 ceremonies around the state.

Youngstown State University's best and brightest students have been named to the Dean's List for Spring Semester 2017.

To be eligible for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

More than 800 students received associate's degrees from Georgia State University during the week of May 8, 2017.

Awards and scholarships were presented to 77 outstanding students at Youngstown State University's Beeghly College of Education Honors Convocation.

Eastern Mennonite University is pleased to recognize 254 students who were named to the Spring 2017 Dean's List. The Dean's List, compiled at the end of each term, includes degree-seeking students who achieve a semester GPA of at least 3.75 with no withdrawn, incomplete, or failing grades for 12 semester hours of standard grades.

The Holyoke Community College Foundation awards more than 200 endowed scholarships each year to new, current and transferring students. Coastal Carolina University's held commencement ceremonies for an estimated 1,145 candidates for graduation May 5 and 6, 2017, at the HTC Student Recreation and Convocation Center on campus. In her remarks to Coastal Carolina University's Class of 2017, commencement speaker Amber J. Campbell encouraged graduates to be true to themselves and their own course in life instead of relying too much on conventional wisdom. "Don't listen to 'they,' because 'they' will tell you all kinds of things," said Campbell, an Olympic athlete and 2004 CCU graduate. " 'They' don't always have your best interests at heart. 'They' will try to talk you out of your dream. 'They' will tell you that what you're pursuing doesn't make sense or that the career you chose is too obscure. Meanwhile, you might end up a three-time Olympian and travel the world!"

Holyoke Community College and HCC Student Activities celebrated the achievements and accomplishments of students who participate in student clubs at the 2016-2017 Club Appreciation and Awards Ceremony on Fri., May 5. The students receiving this merit badge were recognized in a variety of different categories.

On April 23, 2017, University of the Cumberlands (UC) recognized outstanding students during the 58th Annual Honors Day program, including those receiving high honors.

Kennesaw State University congratulates the nearly 6,000 students who were named to the Fall 2016 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List were enrolled in at least 9 credit hours of courses and earned a grade point average of at least 3.5.

Kennesaw State University recently named students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Fall 2016 semester. The Kennesaw State students were honored by President Samuel S. Olens for earning top marks.
