Kennesaw State University recently welcomed its newest class of graduates. Nearly 2,300 students earned bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees during Spring 2018 commencement ceremonies in May.

RIT conferred 4,747 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 133rd annual commencement celebration in May.

Nearly 1,700 students have been named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the following students who have completed their graduation requirements for the 2017-2018 academic year. Members of the Class of 2018 received their diplomas or certificates June 2 at HCC's 71st Commencement exercises at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

Nearly 1,300 students were awarded undergraduate and advanced degrees and certificates at Youngstown State University's Spring Commencement celebration.

University of North Georgia (UNG) President Bonita C. Jacobs recognized more than 1,300 students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the spring 2018 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor's degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the President's List.

The deans of each of UNG's five colleges - the College of Arts & Letters, the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences & Professions, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and the College of Science & Mathematics - announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for spring 2018. Dean's List recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

Each Spring, Holyoke Community College recognizes students with honors and awards for outstanding achievement and performance in a wide array of academic areas and extracurricular pursuits. These students received awards for the 2017-2018 academic year and were honored at a ceremony on Wed., May 23, in HCC's Leslie Phillips Theater. Congratulations!

Columbia State Community College announces the 525 students named to the Dean's List for earning academic honors this spring.

The following local residents made the Spring 2018 Academic Achievement List at Georgia Southwestern State University and were among over 600 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

In recognition of academic performance, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at University of the Cumberlands (UC) has announced the students named to the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.

The Holyoke Community College Foundation awards more than $200,000 in endowed scholarships each year to new, current and transferring students. This spring, the BW theatre and dance community came together to present "fyoo zh en," the annual dance concert combining choreography with faculty member research. This year's show was inspired by Dr. Swagata Banik's National Institutes of Health-funded public health study "Project SHAKTI: Stigma reduction, Healthcare provider Awareness and Knowledge enhancement on Transgender issues in India."

Holyoke Community College is proud to announce the newest members of the Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Thirty-seven HCC students were honored during an induction ceremony on Thursday, March 29. This special event recognizes students who have demonstrated academic achievement according to the Phi Theta Kappa standards. Students are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa when they have completed 15 college credits with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Western New England University congratulates 412 students named to the Fall 2017-2018 President's List. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.

The University of South Carolina Aiken congratulates those students who made the Dean's List for Fall 2017. To earn this distinction, students must be enrolled full-time and maintain a GPA of at least 3.5.
